The scene we cut
The customer is always right
"Have you ever heard the expression the customer is always right?" D Fens just wants breakfast.
Douglas took the part for a fraction of his usual fee because he wanted to play someone ordinary. The flat top haircut and glasses were modelled on his own father Kirk's look from the fifties, and the burger scene was shot in a real fast food restaurant that was closed for the day.
