The scene we cut
New to the Yabba
"New to the Yabba?" The friendliest town in Australia.
The film was rediscovered in 2002 by its own editor, who tracked the last surviving negative to a container in Pittsburgh a week before it was due to be burnt. It was one of only two films ever selected for Cannes twice, in 1971 and again as a classic in 2009.
